Back in 2008 I set up a website called Rockabilly Online, just to get my love for Rockabilly out in the open. Nothing new, but apparently people all over the world noticed my website and stories and I got a lot of emails of bands and other rockabilly lovers. Some wanted to join my website and write with me like Bunny and Drew from the US, and Miriam from the Netherlands. I did not expect this to grow out to be such an amazing centerpoint of attention, but thanks to our writers (meet them at all https://www.karto.nl/?page_id=886) we get over 4500 visitors a month, so bands, pinup models, clothing shops and anyone or anything interesting to write about gets all the attention they need to keep on doing what they love, through Rockabilly Online.
I’m proud to present our first event in The Netherlands: Rockabilly Online’s Rockin’ Rhythm revue, on October 27th 2012 in Rotterdam The Netherlands.
While touring with my own band I met the guys from 44 Shakedown. I was very impressed by their style and catchy forties/ fifties sound. So we invited them to spice up our first Revue.
Ofcourse my own band Dee’s Honetones will open the evening with our Rhythm and Blues Rockabilly sound. I can also announce we have a SURPRISE GUEST!
Schorem Haarsnijder & Barbier will join us too, off stage that is. Men can relax and get a clean shave and haircut by sharp dressed barbers while listening to some decent rockandroll.
And to make it a complete male festivity Real Deal Vintage will be there too with his Vintage male clothing and accessories.
