All the way from Australia, our new pinup of the week: Kat Fink!
The picture reminds me of a classic nightclub Jazz singer. That’s why we love it!

Kat Fink says: I guess i am like most rockabilly girls, i love the fashion, love the cars, love the music and it is a great kulture to be involved in, but i have gone a little further with the ‘love’ of it, im slightly obsessed.. I make the fashion, I drive the cars and I play the music, i collect 1940’s & 50’s Atomic everything, Clothing, furniture, magazines, house ware, art, dolls etc I teach vintage hair and makeup classes and i write a column in Australian hot rod magazine ‘Cruzin’ i host the Kustom Krafts markets to support rockabilly bands and designers and i have a real passion for all that i do and for all that i support. Growing up, my family always had a classic car, sometimes 3 at a time sometimes 10 but always at least one that was a regular cruiser the others were in pieces on our family farm or stored in the 8 car garage. I always thought that my family was a little strange, growing up in a beach town northern nsw of Australia where my dad wore Hot Rod shirts and picked me up in school in what seemed like a mean looking car to locals and other parents and that somewhat scared the girls away and i became ‘one of the guys’. I can now say, that my parents did not think in any way that i would be so heavily involved in something that i told them was ‘dorky & embaressing’ pre me turning 14 and thinking ‘ Wow..there is much more to it all than elvis impersonators and people staring at our car driving through town’ most of my friends are involved in Burlesque, vintage or hot rods in some way- we have a pretty large scene here in Brisbane.

I started making and selling jewellery in my old home town of Byron Bay when i was 12, my family is very business like minded and i was thrown in the deep end from a young age after my mum said the jewellery i was making was good enough to sell, when i was 15 i started making rockabilly style jewellery and made up my label name ‘My Little Rockabilly’. I have just turned 20 and my business is my full time job i sell online and in a few stores
