This weekend sees VIVA LE PINK’s heavily-inked head hell-kitty Missy launching her own tattoo aftercare balm at 2012’s London Tattoo Convention.
Taking place between Friday 28th & Sunday 30th September at Wapping‘s Tobacco Dock, the convention attracts more than 20,000 visitors annually, and this year features more than 300 international artists working on site, plus performances from acts including The Fuel Girls, Neville Staple and Vince Ray. ‘Missy LePink’s Tattoo Tonic’ – a hand-crafted, all-vegan, all-natural aftercare balm – goes on sale first at Stand V67, just by the main stage.
Missy and Viva le Pink will then be making an intimate London live debut on October 10th in the suitably spooky surroundings of St. Pancras Church Crypt! The rose-tinted psychobillies’ flamboyant show here will form part of an opening night party for ‘Dare To Wear’; a month-long exhibition of eccentric fashions curated by Sue Kreitzman. Viva le Pink are soon to announce a launch event for their debut EP ‘London Crawlin’’, which is released on October 29th via Diablo Records, and features star turns from psycho icons Phil ‘Doyley’ Doyle (Klingonz / Nigel Lewis & The Zorchmen / The Guitar Slingers) and Terry Edwards (The Specials / Tom Waits / Gallon Drunk).
