Hey everyone! My names Sara aka Rockabilly Woman, I’m 18 and a great admirer of the classic 50s and the modern rockabilly version. I’ve just finished a fashion and textiles course as well as a photography course, for which I studied the 50s to really extend my knowledge of this era and I fell in love with the whole style and so far there’s nothing I don’t like. I especially love the pinups, being cheeky, fun and flattering. Also being a plus size girl I have struggled with self confidence, but with my shape, 50s, rockabilly and pinups give me the extra confidence boost I need. I love to be in front of the camera as well as behind it, especially with one of my greatest ladies (Jordane, who has also won pin up of the week) this era and style is a great laugh and the outcomes are always fantastic. Im currently starting up a company designing t-shirt images on http://www.sneakypetesonline.co.uk/ (coming soon), using a lot of pinups and 50s inspired illustrations. I still do photoshoots in my spare time as I enjoy it so much and after my college course I now make my own clothes as a lot of the clothes I love are so expensive and I like to be different so can put my own twist on clothing.
