We all think rockabilly and pinups are a Western thing. It’s happening in the states and in Europe. Oh, right, Japan too ofcourse… but Isreal??? Well yes they do have pinups there. Here’s K von Curve:
My name is K Von Curve. I’m a pin up from Israel, I import Pin up style clothes and accesories and try to teach my fellow Israelie’s about this life style. I have been shopping for 50’s style clothes and accesories online for many years now, because there is nothing available here (but I think in the US it’s the same kinda), so a year ago I’ve decide to start importing clothes from PUG, Bettie page clothing, and Kustoom Voodoo bows. I admitt it’s very hard as if I want to make a living out of it I must appeal to more then those 15 girls I mentioned, so I work hard to recieve as big exposure as I can. Also, Pin up style photography is not known to most photographers here, so when I do a photo shoot I have to explain what it is, and how it’s suppose to look like.
My next step is to design and manufacture my own clothign line, and sell it also internationally and I plan to open a Yuoutube channel and blog with Hebrew how to tutorials about hair dos and make up….
