DSC00058Calabrese – the trio brothers that hail from Phoenix Arizona – have a new album called “Born with a Scorpions Touch,” a newer, harder sound busting out balls of steel and riding high on the hog. Blood, Sweat and Tears were put into this album and it is hardcore to the core. The Scorpion is the main symbol and the key to Calabrese. Revenge is sweet of this band as it tells the tale as this album unfolds. They call themselves “American Rebel Death Riders.” This is the band that is going to take the world by storm, the living and the dead, one step at a time.

We open this album with the title track “Born with a Scorpions Touch” that has cunning lyrics such as, “I’m born with a Scorpions killer heart in the wasteland.” Then move to track three, “I wanna be a Vigilante”, where they rhyme in time saying, “Payback dark figure in black, well you’re never coming back.” They say it and mean it. Almost every track on this album is about love and death and taking both to the fullest. Other albums 13 Halloweens, The Traveling Vampire Show, They Call Us Death and Dayglo Necros, are all beautiful macabre and unique in their own way packed with horror illustration and dark poetic justice eternal, all with dedication that speaks for itself. The final reward is experiencing them live for that is the trick and the treat for Everyday is Halloween. So join them and be their fiend and part of their scene. Calabrese never disappoints experience them for you are in for all hell of a ride. ~ 4 stars Christina Death
