Hello everyone!
I can’t believe two whole years has passed since I first was featured as Pinup Of The Week here on Rockabilly Online! But I guess it’s true what they say – time flies when you’re having fun – and a lot of fun things HAVE happened during these two years!
In my last feature I remember talking about my love for modeling and watching burlesque, but that a severe injury had stopped me from doing what I loved most here in life – dancing. After about seven years of rehabilitation I’m now able to move quite freely again though, and when I noticed I could actually put my pointe shoes on and do some ballet again, I decided to stop just looking at burlesque, and actually try to do it myself! I use my knowledge in ballet, mix that together with burlesque in my acts, and do what I call “burlesque ballet”. The audience really seems to like it, and since I LOVE doing this myself, I have no plans to stop stripping in the near future!
Another thing that has happened these last years is that I got a contract with the alternative modeling agency Nocturnal Agency. I still do a lot of shoots as a freelancer though, and as I keep getting better and better at standing in front of the camera, I have now been blessed to work with some really good photographers! I’ve even done two completely nude shoots – something I never thought I would dare doing. But it felt SO good, and the pictures turned out just as I wanted – beautiful, and slightly erotic, but far from pornographic. That whole “spread your legs” thing isn’t for me. I like when both men AND women can look at my pictures and see something beautiful and inspiring, rather than feel the need to go wank off when they see them… Even though I guess that would be some kind of compliment in a way too. Haha!
My next burlesque performance will be in October, at the International Stockholm Burlesque Festival. Then, in November, I will do my first performance outside of Sweden, at Caput Mundi Burlesque Festival in Rome, Italy. Really looking forward to that!
